A Licensed Professional Practitioner is a spiritual counselor. Practitioners are skilled in Spiritual Mind Treatment (affirmative prayer) to resolve conflict and declare the Truth about any particular situation in your life. Through the spiritual practice of affirmative prayer, Practitioners create a sacred space where healing can occur by knowing and revealing a spiritual Truth, which is greater than any physical condition or situation. Miracles take place through affirmative prayer!
Practitioners are trained to help clients discover any limiting beliefs about a particular situation, share spiritual principles, and explain how the creative process works. Many people choose to meet with a Practitioner when faced with a specific challenge. Others work with a Practitioner regularly to grow and deepen in spiritual awareness. A Practitioner session can help clients understand their challenge and its possible cause. Sometimes people are too close to a situation to have an objective viewpoint. Working with a Practitioner can help people work through these situations and learn how to sustain results into the future.
Practitioners are available for private, confidential sessions. Each Practitioner has an individual fee schedule.

We are each unique expressions of God. Sometimes we forget who we really are. Sometimes we forget who others really are. It is not necessary to suffer unwanted conditions. There is always a way for what we really want. It is a joy to assist children, families or anyone of any age in leading the best life.
Allison Barrie, RScP, Practitioner Emeritus
It is my honor and joy to serve the Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living as a Licensed Professional Practitioner. Having been in Religious Science all my life, I continue to be in awe of the Presence and Power of God that expresses uniquely through and as each one of us. My life continues to be transformed by the Science of Mind and Spirit, so I love teaching others to use the spiritual principles that have the power to change our lives for good.
Pat Fromer, RScP
It is my honor to serve the Riverside community. Giving back in service is one of my strongest beliefs. I feel that I live a very blessed life and I choose to share my talents, my time, and my treasures with the world around me. My ultimate goal is to live a joyful life and to grow spiritually, sharing my knowledge and experience in hopes of helping people around me. Knowing that God is within everyone and everything allows for such abundance to flow all around me. I am here in service.
Jeanne E. Kataoka, RScP, OAC
Mythologist Joseph Campbell exhorted us to follow our bliss. As an Animal Chaplain and Practitioner, I get to do just that. I seek daily to know the Truth for myself and others--human and animal alike--despite appearances to the contrary, and, to that end, undertake spiritual practices in the form of affirmative prayer, affirmations and meditation. Being of service in this way is truly a joy. I am thrilled to be associated with the Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living, and am grateful to Rev. Darlene and my fellow Practitioners for accompanying and supporting me on this journey.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us”-Ralph Waldo Emerson
As surely as the mighty oak is embedded within the acorn, so is your perfection and wholeness embedded within you. Practitioner sessions, affirmative prayer and learning about spiritual principles brought about the greatest changes in my life. Now it is my joy to use my training, to give back, by offering practitioner sessions that empower you.
Kim O'Connor, RScP
I have been a student of metaphysics for much of my life; my initial study came through the writings of Rev. Dr. Emmet Fox and the study of Divine Science. Coming to this center, taking classes and implementing what I was learning truly changed my life. The beauty of the teaching of Science of Mind is I was taught how to think, not what to think. The greatest gift is to be reminded that all answers to life's mysteries are already known to each of us on a soul level. It is my great honor to be a licensed Practitioner for this spiritual community and I look forward to being in sacred service to this beloved center.
Tim O'Connor, RScP
I was introduced to Science of Mind as a teenager when my mother took me to a Science of Mind Church in Los Angeles in the late 1960’s. I have studied the philosophy of Science of Mind and metaphysics throughout my life. I enjoy teaching Science of Mind classes. I also create personalized and recorded guided meditations for individuals experiencing blocks or "emotional hangovers" which are limiting beliefs developed from past experiences. My meditations work well with someone desiring to see him or herself as they truly are from the “inside/out,” not as they believe they should be or were "told" to be, from the “outside/in.” Check out my website: timaoconnor.com.To your success!
