Al Yankee, featured soloist
Al is the featured soloist for Sunday services twice monthly, on second and fourth Sundays. He has released three CDs of his New Thought compositions: Every Once, Every When (2018), Be Love (2015), and All There Is (2010), which can be found on iTunes, YouTube, Amazon, etc., and can be heard on iHeart Radio and similar outlets. Al is the founder and producer of the New Thought Music Festival and also the Science and Spirituality lecture series.
A performer with RCCSL since 1999, Al is the owner of Legacy Artists and teaches Music History and Music Business courses at local colleges. He is married to Barbara Jean Yankee. When he’s not performing at RCCSL, Al is an in-demand guest artist at New Thought centers throughout southern California.
In September 2017, Wayne became RCCSL’s choir director, bringing to the position decades of musical experience which started at age 5 when he sang solos and duets in the Mennonite Church. He has served as a featured tenor soloist, high school music teacher, private music teacher, and director of church, university and community choruses in Hawaii and California. Wayne was the founder of the Antelope Valley Children’s Choir and Palmdale Community Chorus. He earned a conducting certificate from a summer clinic at the Juilliard School in New York. He is a member of Raincross Master Chorale, serving on its board of directors, and has been tapped to conduct rehearsals for the annual Messiah Sing Along at the Riverside Stake of the Church of the Latter-day Saints. Wayne has been married to Dr. Kasey Wilson for nearly 30 years and has three grown children and four granddaughters.
Shawn Arthur, pianist-accompanist, Voice of Truth Choir
Shawn has spent 40 years in the music and entertainment industries as a producer, director, conductor, singer, songwriter, pianist, actor and comedian and has trained nationally acclaimed vocalists and pianists as well. He has performed nationally and internationally on both operatic and vocal stages with such luminsaries as Deborah Voigt, Priti Ghandi and Ronnie Milsap. Shawn has conducted various choirs and was a founding member of the Mountainside Master Chorale. It is his distinct pleasure to accompany the Voice of Truth Choir under the direction of Wayne Wilson and is humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude to Rev. Jeff and the RCCSL community who have embraced him with open arms, open hears and a generosity of spirit previously unknown to him.
Yvette Brandy, Director, Voices of Light Youth Choir
Yvette Brandy, who directs the RCCSL youth choir, is a singer, songwriter and storyteller. Born and raised on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Yvette has performed with the California Philharmonic Chorale and Orchestra; has written several musicals and a four-part harmony choral composition, "Virgin Islands Christmas". In addition to her writing and stage performances, Yvette conducts seminars and workshops for parents, professional and aspiring storytellers.

Matt has been volunteering on the sound board for church services since 2009 and was named head of sound ministry in 2013. He holds a sound engineering certificate from Pinnacle College of Sound Technology in Alhambra. He is a musician who plays drums and piano, and is a composer. Matt loves the sense of community at RCCSL and appreciates the support it gives him. He's glad he can offer his support in return.
Tony brings a background in church service production, music, audio-video technology, and theater. He is a member of the Voice of Truth Choir, a traveling vocalist, and you can usually find him producing and running slides and videos to support Sunday service.

Dan Castle, RScP
Dan is a native ASL signer, long-time teacher, interpreter of the deaf, and ASL book author. Dan has been signing and interpreting at the Riverside Community Center for Spiritual Living for 19 years.
