Newcomer Common Questions

When are services?

Our Sunday gathering, The Morning Table, is at 11:00 am.

Is there parking and where do I go?

Our parking lot is located off of Fairmount Blvd. Our sanctuary is upstairs.

Is the Center accessible?

For those unable to climb stairs, our sanctuary and social hall can be accessed from the Ridge Road entrance. Our lower level spaces are accessible from the parking lot.

What should I wear?

We have a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, so be comfortable! You will see everything dresses and shirts & ties all the way to t-shirts and jeans or shorts in the summer. Rev. Jeffrey is almost always wearing an aloha shirt!

Is child care available?

All children are welcome to join the Village Tables during our Sunday gathering for age appropriate activities and conversations.

Are you Christian?

Yes and no. We believe that Jesus the Christ was a Master Teacher and a Great Example of the universal principle of Christ Consciousness. We view his life and teachings as examples to emulate. However, we do not view Jesus as a savior or that only through him do we know God.

“We do not deny the divinity of Jesus; but we affirm the divinity of all people. We do not deny that Jesus was the son of God; but affirm that all beings are children of God. We do not deny that the Kingdom of God was revealed through Jesus; but affirm that the Kingdom of God is also revealed through you and me.” – Dr. Ernest Holmes

Our teachings incorporate the ancient wisdom of spiritual traditions through the ages as well as philosophy and science. People of all spiritual paths — Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Earth-based traditions, and others — are welcome and find a home in our community.
